The Dali PowerTower hybrid wind-solar system is designed to give Power to the People in disaster areas in a fast, clean and efficient way. The tower is made of wood (renewable and lightweight) and is modular allowing for easy production and transportation to the site. A 3.0kW wind turbine is mounted on top of the tower and provides about 3000kWh of energy per year at 6m/s wind speed. 6/8 solar panels deliver up to 2000kWh per year. The system includes batteries allowing for it to work off-grid and provide energy when no other source of electricity is available. The Dali PowerTower is installed within just a few hours by 3 people and doesn’t require any heavy equipment (e.g., a crane) – due to our patent protected self-erecting mechanism of the Dali tower. Once up, the Dali PowerTower needs minimal maintenance and has a lifetime of more than 20 years. Our hybrid power system is a sustainable way to harvest renewable energy in areas that need it most.
